The Shells

There is such a thing as THE IDEAL HOUSE SHELL TO SUIT OUR PURPOSES, on that the capacity co be composed of several modules either on anchored foundations or on strudy stilts, one where such modules offer  the best ratio of floor area to skin surface, are easily replicatable by many   using a short list of standardized components, a house such configured that has an outstanding resistance to winds, loads, impact and air leakage, a predictable structural behavior that can be adjusted to building programs of varying severity, and finally made to be naturally harmonious, sustainable and permanent while requiring little if any maintenance, and finally a house that is fun to own and live in even when the owner is leasing out the land where it sits.
